ONE of the pleasures of living in a creative space called Portland is the on-going encounter with street artists who never fail to enchant. Who knew you could just make up an outfit or grab your violin and hit the street to entertain and open the minds of passersby. The pictures below need no explanation. I particularly liked the military boots accompanying the violin artist who just happened to be playing a selection from Bach’s Cello Suite. Gasp! Visual and audio expression at its best and most spontaneous. Congratulations to all the unsung street artists wherever they may ply their trades. Would like to credit these artists but the trail ended with the performance.
